I recently experienced this game in HD and it is just incredible! I saw so much more in the game and got even more creeped out. And I can actually read the words in it.

on my first try, i did 14hrs from being terrified the hole time… my second time was 9hrs 43min. I basicly ran through it all. For some reason, i felt pro. ;D “for a game like this take your time.” LOL.

@icetrey87 My computer monitor is 1080p with an HDMI input, so I usually play games on that. but if Annetta’s watching, I play on the main TV. We’re planning to get a proper, large HDTV set, but the kind we want actually IS kinda expensive (even though prices have dropped a ton in the past year), so it’ll have to wait until we have enough.
I would never play this game in standard definition. If you haven’t gotten an hdtv since this video, I’d suggest it, they aren’t even that expensive anymore.
I really enjoyed this game and look foward to dead space 2. I just hopes it remains as scary as the first one.

What do you think of the Game Informer DS2 article? I like most of the ideas, but if you haven’t read it yet I’ll wait. I have a link to scans if you don’t feel like buying the mag yourself.
And last but not least, I was wondering what your 3 guns would be if you had to go thru impossible mode with only them? II would pick the plasma cutter, the line gun, and the Ripper. Now that I’m using it in my 2nd round, I’ve fallen in love.

choose easy. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I just like playing on the hardest or 2nd hardest difficulty first, the hardest for sure if there is an unlockable one.
And speaking of that, did anyone start a new game +, save, start an impossible run but not save, and then realize the impossible dif dissapeared? I have a round 2 save, so idk why the game thru a bf, but I’m pissed I have to speed thru so I can get impossible again. At least I can get a bunch of trophies.

And what difficulty is this? Since the main slasher attacks barely take off one bar of health (with a non-upgraded lvl 1 suit no less) I know you didn’t go thru on hard, I just hope you didn’t pussy out and
Also, do you think RE6 copying off the DS series in terms of combat and making dismemberment key would be a good idea? Iirc I heard Capcom wants to go back to it’s roots for 6, and scores of zombies that NEED headshots to kill (blasting off the arms and legs would make them harmless though:P) would rock. And moving while shooting, hopefully Capcom realizes forcing co-op on gamers won’t fool them into being ok with that “innovation” again.
And just to comment on the vid the conversation you-
game like I miss shit in Fallout 3 (stimpacks, books, etc).
Also, I’ve got some questions for you to answer:
-If the SH2 game had been made in 2009 with DS’ graphics, and combat style (minus stasis and kinesis and alternate firing modes of course), which game would you prefer? I know for a fact I would love SH2 more, I almost do now because the psychological aspect is far superior to DS, and the ambience is almost on par. Obviously it has tech limitations, but it still rocks to this day.
