@jkcheese hahah yep. deadstar kicks feeling goods ass, even though i love muse’s rendition of feeling good. so far my favorite performance of deadstar is at V Festival. that synth in the verse is sick!

  • jkcheese

@SophomoricHumor Dead Star in place of Feeling Good, YES! lol

the 3 people who disliked this, are justin beiber’s number one fans.

  • MoritzATM

saw them at rock im park this year. i also got a video from it. check it!
but this is absolutely brilliant! the outro is “war within a breath” by ratm!

  • EliExtraordinary

matt seems to be putting so much emotion and passion into this particular performance. that’s what makes it mindblowing, apart from the song already being amazing itself. :D

Also trying to think of the point I was getting at, there. Ah, yes. Muse wouldn’t be the same. Am I the only one who thinks so? Dom and Chris would get snapped up with another band, no doubt… and that’s from being in Muse, I guess. But no we musn’t even speak of them being apart. They need each other to maintain the sound and precision they have had from the beginning.

  • KlLLERQUEEN

I appreciate the band as a whole, I love the band, as a whole. They wouldn’t be the same otherwise. Muses, all three off them. To drummers and bassists alike. Singers, guitarists. And considering there are only three of them I’d say they get equal limelight. Say what you will, but they are all appreciated as well as the other. Plus they are best friends and came from the same town.

  • KlLLERQUEEN

@blues3531 and to everyone else; Muse need each other.

  • blues3531

@JEA21B no I was saying Matt with another bands would be more likely to be signed than dom and chris in another band. But thats all speculation and dumb lol Just saying that Matt is the genius that is Muse.

  • JEA21B

@blues3531 That’s not my point. You are right, I agree on that. But as you just said, he gets all the fanboy/fangirl woos. It’s just annoying and unfair. It’s likely that Dom and Chris wouldn’t get signed if they were on their own or with another vocalist, but it’s also highly unlikely that Matt would get signed if he was not on a BAND.

  • JEA21B

@laralike I agree completely. But this dos not mean that he deserves all the love comments and the tributes. I have barely seen Chris or Dom video in youtube displaying their skills and/or personality, but there are millions of Matt videos. Also, you know what? Without Dom or Chris there would be no Muse either.

  • blues3531

@JEA21B No it has nothing to do with what he plays. It has to do with his talent level in those instruments and the fact that most of the bands writing, creativity and direction come from Matt. Like I said we go back in time, any band Matt forms with would probably get signed. Dom and Chris not so likely. They’re great musicians but theres a ton of great unsigned bands out there. Matt on the other hand is a complete musical genius.

  • laralike

@JEA21B For one thing you are right : Muse are Matt, Chris and Dom.
But without Matt there would be no Muse . He is not “just” the singer, guitarist and pianist, he also founded Muse, he WRITES the SONGS, the LYRICS and NOTES.
He produces Muse in his own studio—so MATT is MUSE , a genius, a music-god.
(And Chris and Dom can play their instruments very well, no doubt)
