I'm very strongly in favour of universal healthcare like we have here in Britain where the private companies are out on the fringe. I just think that the american proposals are a case of rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic. True reform would have to be root and branch, breaking completely the 'run for profit' Insurence system. The public option is better than nothing but it's still just a case of patching up leaks. We're on the same side mate You have me wrong.
